The Moral Baseline
We are taught from a young age to treat some animals with respect, and to harm others for food and clothing. If you ask anyone, they’d say that they oppose animal cruelty. Animal cruelty is the infliction of physical pain, suffering, or death upon an animal, when not necessary.
In today’s society, we have an abundance of food and clothing alternatives that exclude animals in their production. By choosing to use and consume animals, we are unnecessarily contributing to animal cruelty to which we all oppose.
The answer is simple.
Treat others how you would like to be treated.
Live in line with your morals. Live by the moral baseline.
